A peek under the hood at how each pack is generated, why no two packs are identical, and how you can get the most out of the tool.
The four ingredients
Every pack is built from four choices you make at the top of the page:
- Grade: sets the difficulty, vocabulary and length of questions.
- Subject: maths, English, science, art and more.
- Theme: dinosaurs, space, animals, fairy tales. The theme paints the questions, not just the cover.
- Difficulty: a fine-tuning knob on top of the grade level.
Why every pack is different
Each section is composed from a large pool of templates, prompts, number ranges and themed word banks. When you click generate, the tool picks a fresh combination, swaps in theme-specific words, and randomises numbers and answer order. Even if you keep all four selections identical, the next pack will look and feel different.
Print mode versus interactive mode
Once a pack is generated you can switch between two views:
- Print mode renders a clean, ink-friendly layout, ideal for printing at home or in class.
- Interactive mode turns questions into tappable answers, typing prompts and a drawing canvas, perfect for phones and tablets.
Saving and resuming
Generated packs and any progress (answers, drawings, completion status) are stored in your browser's local storage. Nothing leaves your device. You can open the Library tab any time to revisit a pack you created earlier.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Generate two or three packs back to back and pick your favourite.
- Bump the difficulty up a notch when your child is breezing through.
- Use the certificate page as a reward at the end of a session.
- Pair an interactive pack on a tablet with a printed copy for a sibling.
